Hey, I’m Lindsey! I’m a Seattle native with a love for music, breakfast foods, and bees. I find myself inspired by my Scandinavian heritage, especially traditional embroidery styles and textile designs. I am a maker of things and a thinker of thoughts.
During my internship with Hay&Co. Design, I was tasked with designing a multipurpose greeting card for the company to use to connect with current and potential clients. I played with the scale of the company’s logo (the ampersand) to create visual interest, while keeping the color consistent across the front to maintain simplicity.
The goal of this assignment was to create a single cover for a song of our choice. I chose “Something for Your Mind” by Super organism. I used sweet citrus images to reflect the summery vibe of the song, and I included some of the Korean lyrics from the song to represent the multiculturalism of the band itself.
These are some pieces I created for my sister’s wedding. I included graphics of the pink roses and maroon dahlias in her bouquet, as well as a gold garnish. Pictured here are the menu card and the ceremony pamphlet.
