Carriage was designed to improve the transportation system in a “smart city”. In contrast to the inconvenience created by struggling with confusing public transportation, unreliable bike rental programs, or countless hours stuck in traffic, Carriage aims to simplify the urban transport experience. Designed to seamlessly cater to all your transportation needs, Carriage provides travel options of bus, car, or bike through combining the services of urban transportation organizations into one interface. The design elements integrated into Carriage allow for reservations of bus seats, scheduled drivers, and bikes all throughout the city. Further, Carriage implements the idea of shared transportation by inviting users to reserve carpools with friends. Navigation is provided for the user to help ensure fast, easy, and reliable form of travel throughout an urban sprawl. Carriage unifies the transportation system into one simplified location, allowing for the ultimate ease of access for the user.
This app was created to pair with a UX conference called Unik, which I designed in the fall of 2018. The conference app was designed to give attendees a place where they can customize their conference experience. The user will be able to sign up for events, read about speakers, set reminders for workshops, and connect with other professionals at the conference. The connection element of the Unik app allows for users to link their social medias, personal information, and portfolio in one location. From there, users will be able to connect with others with a simple scan of a QR code. Once connected, users will be able to stay in contact post conference without the need to worry about a misplaced business card or misspelled name on LinkedIn. The Unik app was designed with the intent of helping users customize their own experience while maintaining long-term personal connections with other professionals.
In a recent internship, (Summer 2018), I worked for RocketDog Communications creating and designing graphics for the Seattle Startup Week conference last October along with assisting in the launch of their redesigned official website. It was my pleasure to work with the team at RocketDog to completely overhaul the website into something new that better helped them showcase their work to the world. I designed web templates that were used to show the pieces RocketDog Communications has presented to their clients. Templates were designed to highlight the bold and hardworking attributes that RocketDog exudes. Here is one example of a template used to display the branding and identity work done by RocketDog Communications for Revel, (a management consulting company). I created a series of elements to unify the variety work that RocketDog Communications has done for Revel and other companies. These templates transformed RocketDog Communications’ previous website into a new, modern, and sleek collection of their work.
